We traveled today in hard rain and high winds. However, the temperature crept up to 72 as we traveled from SC, through GA and into FL and being wet didn't seem so bad. We drove 250 miles and have found a wonderful temporary home in Ocala, FL for the next two nights at the Ocala Sun RV resort. We need a day to rest up and organize the 19 feet we are living in for the next 2 months!
Interesting sidebar - our little Airstream looks like a toy next to the 40+ foot RVs we are camping with. Amazing, everyone thinks we are so "cute" and yet their's are fancier than many homes! Many of the folks here in Ocala Sun spend their entire winters here and their "homes" have wonderful gardens and decorations. We live in a wonderfully diverse country and we are just starting to experience some of it.
