Day 28 - Happy Easter Morning!

Great night sleep.  Rainy and chilly this morning.  Internet connection extremely poor - can’t seem to find a good spot here.  But Sirius radio follows us everywhere!  Today is Watercolors, channel 71.
This is how we wished the weather looked!
This was taken on the only dry day we had here.
Poor Precious!  Cozy just doesn’t do it for her; we can hunker down and read a book, but there’s not much for her to do  (she could eat a book, but then I’d have to clean up the mess, so...).
Davis has been looking at the National Parks books this morning - We think we will make multi-day stays at the Grand Canyon and Sequoia National parks, and the town of Santa Fe (Ghost Ranch won’t allow pets) among others. We would like to make side trips to Canyon de Chelly, Petrified Forest, and the rebuilt London Bridge in western Arizona .  And there is no telling what we will see that will pique our interest as we go along.
Davis read a bit out loud from the book we are reading (only the second as there have, up until now, been many distractions).
A different kind of Easter dinner - delicious!
We went into town to have our Easter dinner.  We ended up at a wonderful Mexican restaurant and had a great lunch with enough for at least one more meal.

Where did you say we were?  Did I have the map
upside down?
We drove around for a while and ended back at the Airstream factory to find we had several other “neighbors”.  Davis when running and I went to dry the things that had gotten wet.
Late this afternoon we had a great phone call from Brian and Margaret - thanks you guys for making our evening - and we hunkered down in the rain for a quiet eventing with Sherlock Holms, (the original, of course) and an early night.

What, Fifth Third Bank - huh?
Not many pictures today so I'll share a few random ones:

I'm not in any hurry to go there, Precious.
Note the green, green grass; it's everywhere!

Isn't this a great picture of open spaces and
straight roads.  I can almost see a
tornado in the distance!

This truck had some flaps on it's back that were
probably for aerodynamics.

I wish everyone a pleasant Easter good night.
Shalom, Heather . . .
