6/12/11 - "Speech Therapy"

We spent the morning going to Beaverton to hear our friend, Rene, preach.  His topic for Pentecost Sunday was about how we all need to listen, really listen to what those around us are saying (". . . the fact is that speaking to be understood is always a kind of miracle.").  Great message. The music was beautiful and moving.  What a wonderful group of folks we worshiped with.
This is the Redwood in our front yard.
I'll take a picture with someone in it to
show its size.  I love our trees!
As you know, if you've been with us from the start, the kitchen and dinning room have morphed into a great room.
That wall blocks the view we bought.  It has to go!

Oh yeah.  That's what I'm talking about (you'll see as soon as
the plastics down).

We are still living in the Airstream, but will soon be able to take showers in the brand newly created utility room.
Taken standing by the old kitchen counter.

Taken standing where the old kitchen counter was!

Looking into the utility room.  Davis' shower in left
corner, new toilet straight ahead, washer/dryer
will be to front left, sink/counter and cabinets to right.
AND I'll be able to do our wash at home!  Good bye laundry mat!

Where I would have had to go to do my wash before
the new utility room - NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

That's enough for now.

If you're just tuning in:  Davis and I are going to be grandparents come January.  Most of you will get very tired of hearing that, but that's just tooooo bad!!!

Shalom,  Heather . . .
