6/21 & 22 - "We Did It"

We did it!!!  We both passed our driver's tests.  Davis made a higher score than I did, but I still had an A.  Now we are officially Oregonians!
We had a beautiful sunset last night (longest day of the year) to celebrate our success.
Took Precious to meet her new vet.  He has discovered she has a heart murmur but doesn’t think it’s significant.  We don’t have heart worm here - nice.  However, her hips are definitely a problem and we will cross that bridge when we get there.
Livingroom/greatroom ceiling.
The house is coming along nicely and we should be showering in the utility room by next week.  More significantly (only I understand how wonderful this is) we will have our own washer and dryer!!  Oh my.
Bedroom(s) ceiling, brocaded (sp?).
Davis is doing some of the work on the house now as well as all the yard work.  What am I doing, you may ask.  Well, let’s see:  I keep the camper straight and clean, I fix the dinners, do the dishes, do the blog (when the Internet works), I knit any thing that needs knitting, mend things that need mending, go for things that need “goforing”, and I hug Davis a lot.  I’m not good for much else, . . . yet.
Our weather is so great I hate to tell you about it.  Even the rain is gentle compared to the Carolina storms we used to have.  Life is good.
Thanks to Hormel we’re having roast tonight.  Thanks to Brian we’re having fresh greens in our salad tonight.  Thanks to Albert we are resting easier about our house in Newport tonight.
If I were to list all the people who I need to thank you’d be reading for an hour so  . . . all you angels who have enriched our lives . . . thank you and may God Bless you with people as great as yourselves to enrich your lives.
Shalom,  Heather . . .
