July 2 - 8 "Looks Like This is Becoming a Once-A-Week Update!"

Hopefully we can get a better Internet connection next Wednesday.  Anyway here goes another try.

Remember all those boards Davis put 3 coats on?

The reconstruction is coming right along but as usual pictures tell the story best. 


Davis worked on all the ceiling boards and we dried them in the sun.  

And remember the Sunroom ceiling?

The insulation is up and in!

                                          




   Then came 
    the insulation - the
    builders put that in!

The work went faster with 3 of them on the job.

We can now shower and pee inside like civilized
folks; and I love my deep utility sink.

The utility room is almost complete.  What a treat!

I hope my dryer comes today!  No more stiff
towels or wrinkled clothes!!

Davis has also been hard at work on the yard.  He and Brian moved the logs (Brian cut with chain saw) to their two trucks to take to Brian and Margaret's for fire wood - the "table" to moved at a later date.

We have a tiny garden started.

Well it's off to get haircuts.  The Lavender Festival starts today in Yamhill and the Turkey Rama starts today in McMinnville.  What an interesting place we have moved to!

Bob, we are so glad you are home again after your scare!  We'll come see you when you're ready for company.  Just give us a call, Cora and we will come down and harass him!
