Day 15 - “The Owl and The [Turtle] Went [Down the Road] in a Beautiful [Bright Red Truck].... (Apologies to Edward Lear)

Camping (AKACar) Turtle gives Owl a ride.
These two have become inseparable (thanks to Velcro).  They see it all out the front window and then come inside the Bambi for company.
Who is that old lady doing that puzzle?
Today has been an odd mix.  Davis ran early then settled in to reading; I slept late and then spent the rest of the morning doing some of my mystery jigsaw puzzle.

We then drove into Richmond to look for Davis’ cousin, Jerry (not home, no phone number) and for the church where Davis’ mom’s ashes will be placed in the garden.  We’ve been to the Apple Store . . . again.  I’m not sure why, but the computer is getting slower and slower.
Our "tender", Evan, behind the
Genius bar, serving Davis.
It may be homesick.  But Evan, one of the genius "tender" behind the Genius Bar, worked and worked and finally I believe our baby is all well again - if not, we get a new hard drive.  During all this, with only a few short walks, poor Precious was very patiently waiting for her time in the enclosed dog run.
Tonight we had a real dinner - Prime Rib (one slice from Kroger), roasted Yukon Gold potatoes & onions and steamed carrots.  Our little home has a convection /microwave that cooks to perfection - camping sure has change from the “good-old-days!”
Hey Francis, Teresa and Judy!  Miss you guys!  Hey lunch bunch - miss you very much.  Hey Clyda and Jackie - think about you two often.  Thank you to everyone who is following (especially Cora who sends a comment almost every day!)  Glad you’re following Ed, we miss you.

If you can’t comment and would like to say “hey” just e-mail a line or two - ontheroadagain2@mac.com.  We love hearing from home.  (See me answering e-mails and posting to the blog, with Precious at my feet!) (FYI, if the pictures seem too small, click on them, copy, then paste to your desktop and enlarge.)
There's that old lady again and
what is that fur ball on her feet?

As Tiny Tim would say,  “God Bless us, every one,”
Shalom,  Heather . . .
