Day 40 - “. . . And We Wandered in the Desert for 40 Days and 40 Nights . . .” (actually, we’re still in Branson, MO).

This is what helped me get through last night without
pulling my hair out!  (Not really, but it's a cute bottle and
a surprisingly good wine!
(Nothing of historic note today, but the geology we have seen is impressive so I’ll TRY to post some of the picturesI took.  Also, the road signs that I found amusing.)
I keep reminding Davis of this fact - that's why we're having so much fun!
Today was sooooo much better!  The sun was up, there were no accidents in our vicinity, I believe I’ve solved the mystery of the disappearing pictures, I have my credit card back and we received e-mails from several folks we weren’t sure were “along for the ride” with us; what could be better!
Amazing!
Beautiful.

It looks like they were put there on purpose!
Rich stuff those rocks!
Sandstone walls and how they have crumbled.
Again, it looks like they put the "wall" there.
I was up at 3:00am “fixing” the picture problem (it’s going to take my putting each one back, one at a time - about 4 minutes each - before it is returned to what it was before); then I went back for some shut eye around 5:30.  Therefore I slept in until around 9am!
When they say they have Pepsi instead of Coke, Davis always ask if they can go out and get him a Coke.
We discovered a broken front running light on the truck this morning so we spent some time at the local Dodge dealership (turned out to be a very nice experience!).  Then to the local KMart to fill some prescriptions.
Self explanatory!

Are they asking a question?  I don't know why you
would want to go that way?

I heard you the first time!

You are getting very sleepy. . .

Ok, now where shall we go from here?

This afternoon we discovered an AirStream Club’s tour of New Zealand that we want to take.  As many times as we have been to NZ we have never been to the South Island.  It’s a 29 day tour starting in the middle of February next year.  We think we might go!! Oh, my!!  Who want to come along?  Sign up soon because it’s a small group.  (I'm not kidding - if you think I am, you're wrong; it would be fun to show you that beautiful country and you can stay with us in the North Island before and/or afterwards!)

Night all and Shabbat Shalom,  Heather . . .
