Day 70 - 6/5/11 - “We Can See The Pacific AND The End of The Tunnel” (we made it as far as Trinidad, CA)

There's hope of clearing in that sky.

We awoke this morning at Clear Lake to the now familiar rain drops, but there was promise in the clouds and no wind so we hooked up and headed northwest.

We drove along Hwy 101, went through several  impressive Redwood groves, saw the Pacific ocean in Eureka, California, and drove a total of 204 miles up the coast.  

Around and around we go.

Wonder what makes the traffic so mad?
 Guess we'll find out.

Ah, back on our level once again.

We are anchored at a cute little campground just up the hill from the ocean (we can hear the sea lions from here).  


We spent awhile cleaning and doing some more laundry.  Just a few pictures today.  We are so looking forward to being home...  This is day 70!!!   Too many days on the road.  The closer we get to Amity the faster we want to get there.  

Home sweet Trinidad home.

Happy birthday to Michelle, from too many time zones away... and speaking of time zones, how are the Aussie Arvins?
