Day 71 - 6/6/11 - “41 Years Ago Today We Said “ I Do”, And We Still Do. . . . .” ( we are in Coos Bay, OR)

So that's what all the hype is about.

Woke again to rain, just a few pitter-patters, and continued to drive north on Hwy 101 and as the morning went on, the sun came shining through.  

And they mean it!!

The California/Oregon coast is absolutely beautiful, especially to us “easterners” who are used to a flat, sandy coast.  

Look at the pictures... around just about every curve was a similar scene, either from sea level or from 350 feet up.  Its cool, no need for air conditioning here!  

We're in a cloud!  Awesome!

We discovered several years ago that the coast was not where we wanted to live.  Inland just over the coastal range is a bit warmer!  And that is where we will call home!

So that's where I came from!

What a beautiful view for a nice lunch.

We’re about a days drive from Amity... whether we get there tomorrow or the next day depends on how many times we stop to admire the view!

Tonight we have great soup and salad and a funny DVD.
