Day 10 - (Sing this one) "Sunrise, sunset, Sunrise, sunset, Swiftly fly the years, One season following another, Laden with happiness and tears"

Oh the trouble I've seen . . .
What a great day this is!!  I know - I look kind of rough, but I cleaned up pretty good after that.

Beautiful sunrise.
Isn't a sunrise a glorious thing to behold!  And to start the day with fresh eggs from Steve's sweet chickens - as Libby would say - oh my!  The rest of you, if you've never tasted a fresh-from-the-chicken egg you need to - they're a real treat!

We drove to Fletcher , NC (near Ashville) today to have dinner with Cousin Anita.  Drove about 220 miles in about  5 hours with several breaks.

Where's MY soup?
We went to Panera's for soup and sandwiches - their Tomato Soup is to die for!  The others had the French Onion soup and loved it.

Davis and Anita at the messy table. Sorry 'bout that!

Anita still has dial-up so we brought her back to the camper to read the Blog on our computer.

Nice to hear from folks in New Zealand!  Looking forward to seeing you come September.  Mom seems to be doing well - thanks to those who have visited her for me.

Plans for tomorrow are to travel to Winston-Salem to visit friends and family there; then on to Raleigh for more friends.  From there we head to Richmond for several days to catch folks we grew up with.  That's far enough for now.

Linda and Fred and Ann - be sure the snow is completely gone by the time we get there - OK?

Thanks for the update on the house, Tom.  I'll post pictures of the construction in Amity at a later time for those who are interested.

Slip of a moon
We started with a sunrise - and here is the tiny slip of a moon we have tonight.

Good night to all and I'll be talking to you tomorrow.

Shalom,  Heather . . .
