Day 21 - Not Much To Say Today Except We’re Thankful To Be (period)

We left Connecticut and headed to Massachusetts in the sunshine.  It’s wonderful to be dry again.

Here I am concentrating; no picture of Davis as
he sweats it out!
Uneventful trip through CT, NY and MA; that’s the way we like it.  I drove and Davis panicked!  We lunched at a rest stop with the Kiwanis (hey Fred) on hot dogs.  The sky was Carolina Blue and the clouds put on a a beautiful show.
Monday is a holiday here to celebrate the ride of Paul Revere
so these folks have a free coffee and hot dog stand for
the travelers;dedicated folks.
We passed Walden Pond (gonna come back to see that) and many other places we have heard about.  Maybe another day.
What a beautiful Tar Heel sky!
All the camp grounds and state parks open in May (I wonder why!) so we are heading for the La Quinta in Andover,MA, just above Boston.  We are really ruffing it tonight!!
Home sweet home for 2 nights.
Davis and I got hair cuts (pictures tomorrow) and tomorrow Precious gets a bath.  Dinner tonight was on Linda again - thanks Pampered Maiden - in our rooms.  Laundry done, movie watched, time to read in bed and say “good night."

Ah, the comforts of home! Everything
an owl and turtle could ask for.

Good night. I'm glad they let me stay at the LaQuinta;
it's very nice here.

Tomorrow is another wonderful day.
Shalom, Heather . . .
