Day 31 - WHAT?!!! It May Snow Tomorrow? No Way!!!

We woke to the sounds of rain on the roof - what a sleepy sound - and we took showers in heated bathrooms!  How nice.  Home made cheese and sausage rolls, hoch’adog!

Not much to look at, but at least it's not snow!

We drove through rain and cold for most of the day.  Davis told me that Chicago was to our right, but I was not impressed.  What did strike me was the plethora of very tall billboards all along the highway.  

What is that all about?

There have been some moments we
would have traded Precious - but no.

Got my attention!

My goodness, someone needs go do something about this type of pollution!.

We are staying in a very nice KOA tonight in DeForest, WI (too much rain to get a good picture - will try tomorrow).  We shopped for salad makings at the locally owned grocery and settled in for a most peaceful evening with a DVD and homemade cucumber soup, salad and the rest of our Subway footlong (from lunch yesterday).

Davis has copied the weather map for those who follow such things.  Looks like we may be in for some SNOW (notice that it is a 4-letter word!) tomorrow - oh, my

I’m cold already just thinking about it, and going to get into bed ASAP with my flannel PJs.
