Day 6 - "Party Time!" (Port Charlotte, still)

Here I am beating our clothes against a rock!
Today started out with laundry duty.  Here you purchase a type of debit card to use in the machines (no worry about running out of quarters).  Just put it in the machine, tell it which cycle you're using or for the dryer how long, and it just subtracts the money from the card.  When you turn the card in you get a refund of what you don't use.  I really like this system.
We spent the late afternoon and evening with our gracious friends, the Jansens in North Port, FL at their truly grand home.  They are the reason we came to FL.  The walls of their amazing  home fold away and their pool becomes part of the living room.  The pool is completely covered by a screened area.  We had a wonderful time and met some very nice folks from the neighborhood that evening.

See the cage around the pool
Love us, love our dog!

View from the Jansen's living room.
Beautiful!

View from the outside - what a beautiful home

Have any of you ever experienced Limón cello (I looked it up thinking it was Lemoncello)?  Well it is a wonder unto itself!  After many different and delicious treats (ala Diane) came the Limón cello.  Oh, my.  I'm just glad I'm not driving home tonight!  It was divine and decadent and delicious all at once.  And then Butler won the semi final game against VCU!  Amazing.  Thanks Ron and Diane for a very memorable evening; see you for Church in the morning.
Good night all, Shalom,  Heather . . .
