This is definitely a day of rest.

| Lazy Sunday afternoon. |
We had a wonderful worship experience with our friends the Jansen. It was a comfortable contemporary service with great music and a thoughtful sermon that made me homesick for a good church home.
 |
| Contemporary hymnal - what a great idea! |
They had a prayer "wall" made from a cross surrounded by chicken wire into which you could place prayers for folks just like we did in Israel at the Western Wall (see pic.). I placed dozens of invisible (God could still see them) prayers for each of you there; (thanks for all the candles St. Ann).

Several of you have asked how my Mum is doing so I have put her birthday picture on the side. (For those who haven't heard, Dad died last December and we moved Mum to a great Hospital/Nursing home in Howick in New Zealand ).

| Mum on her 87th birthday. |
I have also included pictures of our special traveling companions: the guardian angle (thank you Jackie), the sweet little owl (thanks Brain and Margaret) who has acquired a heart (thank you Libby) and the beautiful blue heart (thank you Margaret).

Our Traveling companions - the beautiful blue heart,
guardian angel, the owl with a new heart and our
camping turtle (behind the owl). |
Two new things I've learned today: Southwestern Florida is the lightning capital of the world! and the great screened area over the pool at the back of the Jansen's house is called a "Lanai."
Another thing I've learned today is that I'm very, very glad we are moving to Oregon and not Florida - my goodness it's hot here!!

Heron pair (the folks) night fishing. |
'Nuff said. Feel the prayers (love) and pass them on to someone you know wo needs one.
We have just come from our final walk (for Precious) of the night. To the right are some of the "folks" we encountered! I can't believe how close they let us get to them.
Shalom, Heather . . .
