I drove today (poor Davis; he's such a nervous rider). Of course we hit a 10 mile stretch that lasted about an hour. A big tractor-trailer had gone off into the woods in a median strip, broke almost in half and caught fire. They had about 9 different vehicles trying to get it out. We were glad it wasn't our problem!
We made about 243 miles in about 6 hours with several stops (and the above mentioned slow mo.)
Other than continuing the adventures of Amelia Peabody (Davis read out loud today) we just picked out our home for the night and settled in for a dog walk and then happy hour. Camping Turtle (AKA Car Turtle) and Owl joined in the festivities as we settled in Starke, FL at a very nice KOA; Precious was anti-social for some reason.

Thank you Ron and Diane for a grand time - love your home, your friends and your church (and of course you).
Hey Brian, (sweet boy - no matter how big you grow or how old or how important, you'll always be my sweet boy), great to hear your voice. Thanks for the tour of our Amity house which is now almost completely gutted ready to get it's face lift. Have a great week and give Margaret a hug from us.
Shalom to the rest of you, Heather . . .
P.S. Hey Ed, we thought about you today and send our love.
