Santa Fe, New Mexico, last year celebrated it’s 400th year as a city... Lets see now, when the colonists at Jamestown were struggling to survive in 1610 (after landing in 1607), Santa Fe was thriving and was organized into a CITY. Strange that we in the East don’t hear much about how the other side of the country came into being.

Precious played with fellow dogs all day, was bathed, and is now laying at our feet totally exhausted.
| Precious and all her new buds - they wore her out! |
Mom and dad, however took the day to explore Santa Fe, at least the old part of the city. Hopefully Heather can load some of the pictures we took. Some of you have been here and know all about it.

| I've always had a weakness for cowboys..... |

| Everything you can imagine. |
Well I can see I will need to do another load of laundry soon - these are wonderfully drippy! |
The Georgia O’Keeffe museum was closed, but we had lots to see.
There were street vendors out in the hundreds and the shops are small and quaint in this part of the city.
See ya! Davis
(from Heather . . . Davis was a history major - can you tell! Also, did you see my two new friends?)
