Day 49 - May 15, 2011 (“Full Moon Over Rio Rancho - No Chance of Stars Tonight” ( We are camping in Rio Rancho, for one night)

We are going down, down, down.  The temperature is
going up, but it's still dry.
Perfect home for the night.

We left Santa Fe this morning and traveled about 42 miles to Rio Rancho.  This means our destination tomorrow is within reach without a full day of driving.  What a lovely campsite we have tonight.  We needed a day to get haircuts, a pedicure and do cleaning and laundry.  The weather here is perfect - not too hot or cold and it’s dry!
That's how I feel after a good pedicure!

Davis cooked the meat, I did the veggies inside.
Precious got dog food - oh phooie.

Tonight we cooked a real dinner and then relaxed outside until it was too dark to read or do needle work.  What perfect a day it has been.
Great to hear from you Clyda.  Yes, it is the redest sand I have ever seen.  I hope your summer is full of fun and your classes next year are full of wonderful children.
It's full and gorgeous!  What a beautiful sky.
Hey Alexis and Miss Dana!  Hey Ed!  Thanks for the prayer request St. Ann.
I wish for all of you many, many perfect days to come.
Shalom, Heather . . .
They'r coming along!

  1. Sounds like such a relaxing day! You two deserve it after all that driving you've been doing. Any pics of the new haircuts? Hee hee!
